Insurance cover

PhysiPro is recognised by all the major UK health insurers. If you're planning to claim, a few things are worth knowing before you book.

Before your first appointment

• Contact your insurer and get an authorisation code and the number of sessions approved.
• Check whether your policy needs a GP referral — some do, even though we don't.
• Send us your policy number and authorisation by email or phone — not through online booking, which is for self-paying clients.

Excess and shortfalls

Most policies have an excess, and some pay a fixed amount per session that may not cover the full fee. Any shortfall or excess is payable by you at the appointment. We'll always be upfront about this.
