Last updated September 2026

This notice explains what we do with any personal information you give us through this website. We've kept it short because this site does very little with your data.

Who we are

WebBrews is a freelance web design business based in the UK. We are the "data controller" for information collected through this site. You can reach us at contact@webbrews.com.

What we collect, and why

The only personal data this site handles is what you type into the contact form — your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it) and your message. The form opens your own email app with that information pre-filled; nothing is sent or stored anywhere until you press send in your email app.

We use those details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like, prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind. There is nothing to accept or decline.

Who we share it with

No one. We don't sell your data, we don't pass it to third parties, and we won't add you to any mailing list.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to us working together, we delete the email thread within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep what we need for our records and for tax purposes (currently six years).

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Just email contact@webbrews.com and we'll deal with it within one month.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
